What is THALKEN BEACH?
THALKEN BEACH is Thalken’s first line of clothing! With me (Hana) being from Huntington Beach, California, and William being from Portland, Oregon, the coast has always had a special place in both of our hearts. This line is inspired by other classic coastal sportswear companies like Jantzen, Hobie, etc. We are currently in the process of researching organizations that are involved with coral restoration and ocean cleanup. At some point we want to donate a small portion of the profits from the THALKEN BEACH line to one or a few of these organizations.
What is the significance of 1994?
I started making jewelry at a very young age, and would sell it to people in front of my family’s townhome. When I was 10, my Dad made me my first sign that said “JEWELRY STORE EST 1994.”
I still have the sign.
